Mudumalai National Park is one of South India's most famous wildlife destinations, located around an hour's drive from Ooty. The park is part of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve and is known for its rich biodiversity, scenic forest landscapes and guided safari experiences. Visitors may spot elephants, deer, gaurs, peacocks and, with a little luck, even tigers and leopards.
